March 05, 2020 City Club of Central Oregon Youth Forum on Mental Health and Wellness
On March 5, 2020, The City Club of Central Oregon held its second forum in its Youth Speaker Series, on issues affecting Generation Z, those born between 1995 and 2012. The forum was titled “GEN Z PERSPECTIVE: Mental Health and Wellness.”
It featured some amazing young people talking about health and wellness in schools and their generation generally, a service for youth expoeriencing mental health challenges called Youth Line, and how older foks can help the younger generations with mental health and wellness.
These are some very smart, articulate, and dedicated young students, who volunteer their time to train for and serve other youth through Youth Line. For more information about Youth Line, go to https://oregonyouthline.org.
The Youth speaker series is a partnership between the City Club of Central Oregon and Better Together.
