19th January 1966, a man by the name of George Pedley was driving his tractor through the Pennisi cane farm when he could hear strange hissing noise. Thinking he had punctures a tyre, he followed the sound. Only to witness a strange disc shaped object rising from a small lagoon, tilt on its side and sped off at a phenomenal speed. Later he met up with Albert Pennisi who were extremely good mate, and told albert about what he ad witnessed.

The next day George, Albert and his son's, went down to the lagoon to discover what can only be described as a circular impression in the reeds.
