How are you giving YOUR family a slice of heaven in this world that is on it's way to hell? Are you prioritizing creating your home a place of peace and comfort?

The last couple years we have been convicted in this. We, as wives and mothers have such a pull on what home feels like. Most of us do not live in a pinterest worthy house, and that is okay. Finding out what brings comfort to your household within your four walls will be a blessing to your family. Home is what you make of it. Our attitudes and how we tend to it is what makes a home beautiful. Home is not a museum, home is a place where there is love and comfort.

The word submission can have a nasty taste to it. Sadly, the world has turned something so wonderful into something that is derogatory. Submission in Gods boundaries is a blessing. God created women to be a help meet, what an honor that is. Satan has deceived many with mis using submission by word and action. Satan knows, if the marriage is a strong, biblical relationship there will be a generation of kingdom workers. The enemy wants nothing more than to divide a house. What God says about submission is beautiful. His ways are never wrong and does not fail. Look away from the world and turn to God.

With a new year starting it is important not to focus on ourselves but rather the One who created us. As we begin this new season in life, let us set our eyes on the Lord and practice habits that will draw us near to Him. We do not live for our own being, we live to be kingdom workers. Surrendering this year to you, Lord. Praise be to the King.
