TYM North America Hosts Grand Opening of New Pennsylvania Facility
TYM North America opened a 90,000-square-foot parts and distribution center located in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.
The new distribution center in Bloomsburg represents a strategic investment aimed at streamlining operations, improving inventory management and expediting delivery times to meet the increasing demands of dealers and customers.
The 90,000-square-foot facility features a streamlined layout designed to optimize workflow and storage. This will enhance the efficiency of order processing and distribution and improve the customer experience. The Bloomsburg campus will serve as a central hub for TYM North America’s distribution operations, allowing for quicker response times and improved service levels.
The grand opening event took place on August 22 and featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, facility tours and presentations from company executives. Local dignitaries, industry partners, and media representatives were invited to join in celebrating the milestone achievement.

Ditch Witch Commemorates Groundbreaking of New Oklahoma Facility
Shovels in hand, Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt and other state dignitaries recently helped celebrate the groundbreaking of a new 170,000 square-foot paint facility at the Ditch Witch factory in Perry, Oklahoma. The event was a part of a stop from The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) Express Tour of manufacturing companies across the country.
The new paint line facility is expected to bring up to 100 new jobs to the area and will help drive greater operational efficiencies and capacity to better serve customers. Celebrating 75 years in business, the expansion further reinforces the company’s long-standing commitment to Perry and the State of Oklahoma and positions the company to support future growth in the underground construction industry.
Kevin Smith, vice president of Ditch Witch, said “This investment in the Perry facility will help expand our manufacturing capacity, reinforces our commitment to the many customers we serve around the world, and ultimately helps us continue to produce the world-class products Ditch Witch is known for well into the future.”
When you’re looking for a telematics solution, you might feel like you’re undertaking a box-checking exercise. You’ve consulted review websites, manufacturers’ materials and media articles and created a comprehensive report card on all the bells and whistles you can find in a provider. However, there’s a problem with this method.
Small and midsize landscape businesses can end up with tech that’s overly complicated. You don’t want a solution that makes your job more difficult as a leader. You can’t manage every metric. You should narrow down the most important ones and create a team culture where your managers and crews are bought into your objectives and understand “the why.”
An expert from Linxup provides a roundup of the data landscape pros will actually need. You can find it at GreenIndustryPros.com.
Regulatory Commentary: Neonicotinoid Insecticide Bans
https://greenindustrypros.com/22915957
In recent years, continuing calls for neonicotinoid insecticide bans sparked intense debate and
stirred concerns across industries reliant on effective pest management solutions.
As public interest groups advocate for these product bans, ripple effects are particularly felt
within the lawn care and landscape sector.
With continuing calls for a prohibition on these products, understanding the nuanced impacts
and navigating the evolving regulatory landscape aren’t just good business but are essential for
the sustainability of our industry.
One expert from Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment explains how the industry can
navigate these concerns. Find out how at GreenIndustryPros.com.

Green Industry Pros Reveals 2024 Editor’s Choice Award Winners
https://greenindustrypros.com/22912408
Champion. Honoree. Winner. These words all come to mind to describe this year's recipients of
the Editor's Choice Awards.
Unlike this year's Olympic Games athletes, the winners of this award don't have to pull off a
stunning balance beam routine, capture the winning time in a race event or outsmart their
opponents in a game of wit.
Rather, these products help landscape professionals balance the daily demands of their
business, save on time, money and labor and work smarter, not harder.
Like the athletes of this year's Olympic Games, the manufacturers of these products have
poured countless hours into making them perfect, tested and retested their performance and
spent much of their time thinking about how to make them better.
That's why Green Industry Pros recognizes these products with the 2024 Editor’s Choice
Awards.
