This week, Les sits down with songwriting partners Joel Higgins and Marty Silvestri, whose work spans television, stage, and studio. From their first collaboration in the '70s to their newest project, The Beat of a Wandering Heart (premiering this November at New York's Laurie Beechman Theatre - ticket link below) Joel and Marty have built a creative partnership that thrives on storytelling, melody, and trust.
They talk about their long-running collaboration, the emotional arc behind Wandering Heart, and the joy of hearing new performers bring fresh life to their songs. It's a warm, funny, and inspiring look at a duo who never stopped creating.
