We all were on zoom for this podcast (as we have been for the whole pandemic)...damn Sorkin really nailed that "live on the internet" thing didn't he? The guys breakdown down one of Fincher's most iconic movies, The Social Network. We know that Mat and Ryan love the film, but did the Sorkin-Fincher collaboration work for Dan and Logan? Come back next Monday for our next review in the David Fincher series, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo!

This week we talk about Boyhood, Mat's pick in our round of unpopular opinions. Filmed over 12 years with the same actors, this movie inspired a slew of accolades and praise from critics and audiences alike — but failed to capture the hearts of a few certain podcasters.  There's some great debate and discussion in here so be sure to check it out!

We've made it! After over two years of reviewing each episode of Twin Peaks, we have finally reached the milestone that is the season 2 finale. Predictions were thrown out the window in this absolutely brilliant episode, directed by the one and only David Lynch. Mat, Logan, and Ryan go extremely in-depth and give some super raw reactions to what might just be the greatest Twin Peaks episode. Check it out!

If you've been listening to the show from the start or just discovered us, we're so happy that you could join us for this special episode. Have a recommendation for us? Let us know on Instagram and Twitter @twistedmugmedia or email us at [email protected]!

The guys' unpopular opinions continue with Logan's pick, the 2018 Best Picture Winner, The Shape of Water! Should fairy tales still adhere to some logical rules? Does the messaging of the film miss the mark? Should you wash your hands before or after peeing? We'll discuss all that and more in this deep dive into Guillermo del Toro's magnum opus.
