Today's topic is the same as the week's topic, Two Witnesses.
Whoever rejects the Old Testament rejects the words of Jesus. Then, in John 5:39, Jesus said. “You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. And I ask you, what scriptures existed in the days when Jesus gave this recommendation? The answer is very simple. The Scriptures in Jesus' day were represented by the Old Testament. There was no New Testament yet. I repeat, just to emphasize. Anyone who rejects the Old Testament rejects the guidance of Jesus, simple as that. Many reject the Old Testament scriptures of which Christ declared: “These are they which testify of Me.”
