The U16 Pod

As part of our second half preview series, we continue the series with the SCTA league out of the OMHA. We discussed what to expect from the different SCTA teams, and the top players to watch out for in the second half of the season. We were fortunate enough to have three great interviews for this episode with: Parker Forlin (Niagara North Stars), Hudson Gill (Burlington Eagles), and Finn Wilson (Niagara North Stars).

We discussed what to expect from the different GTHL teams, and the top players to watch out for in the second half of the season. We were fortunate enough to have three excellent interviews for this episode with: Bode Stewart (Mississauga Senators), Sam Dickinson (Toronto Marlboros), and Ryerson Leenders (Toronto Nationals). 

In this Christmas Eve episode, we talk to 2 standout players who's teams made the final of the Waterloo Gold Puck Tournament. We talk to Forward Josh Lepain from the Championship winning Windsor Jr. Spitfires, and Defenceman Aidan Renaud from the Finalist Don Mills Flyers. We also recapped the rest of that tournament with the games we were able to catch at the tournament, as well as any other games the past week and a bit before the Winter Break!

In Part 2 of our 2 part series covering one of the biggest tournaments of the year, the Gloria Rints Memorial International Silver Stick, we talk to four players who's teams made it to the quarterfinal of the tournament. We had conversations with Caden Kelly (Mississauga Senators), Liam Greentree (Markham Majors), Kieron Walton (North York Rangers), Logan Sawyer (Vaughan Kings). We also discussed our standout players for the remaining four tournament groups.

In Part 1 of our 2 part series covering one of the biggest tournaments of the year, the Gloria Rints Memorial International Silver Stick, we talk to four players who's teams made it to the quarterfinal of the Silver Stick. On this week's episode we talk to a couple incredible players from the Navan Grads U18 AAA program in Ben Cormier and Nathan Villeneuve, as well as an outstanding player from the Toronto Marlboros U16 AAA program in Carter Lowe! In addition to those, we recap the week that was in scores and games we had the chance to attend, as well as provide a recap of the Kitchener Blueline Tournament that took place last weekend.

On this episode we talk to a couple great players in Hunter Mckenzie from the Halton Hurricanes U16 AAA program, and Amari Sellars from the Toronto Red Wings U16 AAA program who is coming off of an outstanding tournament at the Clash in the YGK tournament in Kingston. We also give our first update from the Great North Midget League (GNML), the HEO, recap the first week in the GTHL, and provide an update from around the rest of U16 AAA with the Alliance, SCTA, and ETA.

On this episode we talk to Nikolas Iafrate from the Don Mills Flyers, and Daniel Vasic from the York Simcoe Express. We recap a couple tournaments that happened over the last week. 1 in Barrie and the other called the Clash in the YGK in Kingston. We also recap the week that was in the Alliance, SCTA, and ETA, and also preview the recently released groups and schedule for the Whitby Silver Stick tournament happening at the end of November.

Connor and Ryan talk to four standout performers after the first tournaments of the year. Ethan Toms of the Quinte Red Devils and Jacob Therrien of the Clarington Toros hopped on to talk about their game, and the Wendy Dufton Memorial Tournament in London. In our other interviews, we had players who battled it out in the final of the Sylvia Jacobs Fall Memorial Tournament in Markham. Henry Mews of the JRC & Brayden Turley of the Mississauga Senators talk the tourney, their respective teams, and their game.
