February 2021 (Greensboro, NC) -- I used to prefer nice people to honest ones. Now I know better. Gabe @neeriemer and I met under unusual circumstances and have had an unusually honest friendship ever since. We don’t always agree, but we never lose genuine curiosity about what life is like for both of us.
