Hello and welcome to yet another episode of the Persuasion Show with your host Bushra Azhar. Today I'm talking about something that every person who has to sell anything, ever struggles with. Whether you're selling your used pantyhose on eBay which ... I'm just going to go ahead and judge you for that because, EW, do not do that. But anyway, so whether you're selling that or something equally gross or you are selling a ten thousand dollar group retreat you will struggle with a yes blocker. What is a yes blocker? We know for a fact, because it's proven by psychology, that ninety percent of the purchase decisions are made purely on emotion and people later, after the purchase decision has already been made on emotion, they later try to rationalize it based on logic. All the logical stuff that we put on our sales spaces and sales emails and our sales arguments, they are only there to rationalize the purchase. The brain has already made the purchase based on emotion. We already made the purchase based on emotion. We already know that, right? We should also know that there are certain things that are yes blockers where the person really wants to say yes, the brain is saying yes, the emotions are saying yes, every cell in their body is screaming yes but something stops, something blocks the yes from coming out and that yes blocker is basically what's stopping the wallet from slipping out of the pocket getting the card out and punching the number in.
