The Uncensored Catholic

In this episode I talk about one of the hardest aspects of being Catholic.... "forgive us out sins as we wish to be forgiven." Oddly enough, the show all began with me listening to Blaze Foley, Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark... honest, old country music. It is a shame people are remembered for their worst.

In this episode I get into what Saint Ignatius and Saint Justin. Martyr wrote about the sacraments. Then, I share a very personal story about Rev. Pat Robertson, who died today. Were it not for Pat Robertson, I would not be Catholic, I doubt Roe v. Wade would have been overturned and I likely would be paralyzed. May he rest in peace.

In this episode I talk about the Didache, or the Teaching of the Twelve Apostles. Had this document been included in the Bible, there would likely have been no Protestant churches. I aslo get into gernder politics, English genocide and the communist, apostasy of the presbyterian church.

Here is the new theme song for the show. I learned this tune from Doc Watson, who learned it from Merle Travis.... and we all put our own variations in. The original was entitled "I Am A Pilgrim"... it seems fitting. ENJOY!

In this episode I begin discussing the sacraments. The sacraments are mostly exclusive to the Catholic Church (with the exception of Baptism and Marriage) and are a big part of what differentiates between Catholicism and protestantism. I explain what and why we believe based on the bible and the writings of the early Church.
