Roger was a key player in the new wave scene of the late 1970s and early 1980s, best known for his work with Nick Lowe, Paul Carrack, Elvis Costello, The Undertones, Dave Edmunds, The Monkees, the Flamin' Groovies, and Squeeze. He was also a member of the new wave group Blanket of Secrecy, which issued one album in 1982.

He is a multi-platinum-awarded recording and mixing engineer, and producer. In a career that already spans 4 decades he is credited with over 200 hit singles and albums.

It includes songs, an Interview with Dave Sparrow who played Bass in The Photos. He tells the whole story of the bands creation through to their untimely split and what happened in between.
