When our pets get sick, we get very worried. Usually we are much more inclined to run to the vet with our pets than we were running to the doctor for ourselves. And how often when we do that are we actually ending up not knowing what exactly was ‘wrong’ with our pet in the first place? So what is that? Are our animals sick when they are showing symptoms? 

You might say, of course they are, and that is also correct in many ways! And there are also these mysterious things that can be much stronger then we expect. Charlie has his own history of dis-ease, and since he started to be the host of this show, it has flared up again in a dynamic way!

So what might that be about? What are our animals facilitating that we have not been acknowledging? And how can we assist them?

When your pet gets ill, you start to be stressed over many things.

What is happening? Is your pet distressed, or in pain? What is required to ‘fix’ this situation?

Many people are not aware that the aging dog requires different food and attention. What can you do to support your dog with nutrition and other body changes? Do you require to run some hands-on body processes on your dog? Do you need to walk slower, or less? Does your dog need assistance getting in and out of the car? My older dog has slowed down recently. The vet says nothing is physically wrong, “just old age.” He has always enjoyed the daily routine, walks, food play with the other younger dogs. Now it’s like he has no enthusiasm for life, doesn’t want to walk, is grouchy with the other dogs, and sleeps a lot. My dog seems “checked out”…what can I do?

Raadhika has been affected by the death of her dog years ago. She has chosen not to have another pet in her life for fear of losing them.
