Our time travelers Anthony and Krysten travel back to Feb 13, 1965 to watch the Doctor (William Hartnell) and his companions Vicky, Barbara and Ian get pulled off course to land on an unknown planet where the Animus has taken over the planet from the Menoptra using control over the and-like Zarbi. The Animus also uses gold to mesmerize and capture the Doctor and his companions. With the help of the Menoptra and their flightless cousins the Optera the Doctor must defeat the Animus. Our time travelers Krysten and Anthony take a break from the past and watch the 2016 Christmas Special before their next trip back to 1965. So this time instead of black and white slideshow missing episodes, they are treated to full color HD resolution having seen this episode in the movie theater through the special events that fathomevents.com put on. Keep an eye there for other Doctor Who theater events! We join the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) as he goes back to New York to deal with the paradoxes caused by the Angels Take Manhattan. His visit unintentionally creates the superhero The Ghost when the boy Grant eats a wish granting stone. When the Doctor with his companion Nardole (Matt Lucas) return to keep an eye on The Ghost he joins them in thwarting the invasion plans of a race of alien brains (where is Barbara with her stick when you need her!). Don't worry, next week we're back to 1965 and William Hartnell!

Anthony drags Krysten back to January 16, 1965 to join the Doctor (William Hartnell) and his companions Barbara, Ian and Vicky for this four part serial in ancient Rome where we meet Emperor Nero while the TARDIS rests at the bottom of a cliff. Giving the travelers a much needed break which is interrupted by a group of slave traders.

Our time travelers Anthony and Krysten join the Doctor (William Hartnell), Ian and Barbara. We land on a planet the Doctor has been to before to find a crashed ship and an alien holding the survivors hostage. The Doctor and his companions are mistaken for a rescue mission that is fast speeding to the rescue of the stricken ships two survivors but all is not as it seems, of course. The Doctor comes out of it with a new companion, Vicki.This episode originally aired on Jan 2, 1965 and Jan 9, 1965. Yay, we've reached 1965!

We've watched the tenth Serial of Doctor Who which aired between November 21 and December 24, 1964. Off we go to October 31, 1964 to watch the three part Planet of Giants where the Doctor played by William Hartnell and his companions land and the Tardis appears to malfunction with the doors suddenly opening. It turns out they landed on Earth but were reduced in size to that of insects. They have to try to stop the release of a deadly poison created as a powerful insecticide and we have to discuss it now in 2016.

We travel back to August 8, 1964 to watch the Six Part Eighth Serial of Doctor Who. The Doctor played by William Hartnell and his companions end up in France after and run into Robespierre in the dangerous era following the French Revolution.

We leap forward to a weird mix between Nov 5, 1966 and November 2016 for a special episode. It is a bit out of order but they were showing the animated reconstruction of the first serial of the second Doctor, Patrick Troughton. He and his companions end up on the planet Vulcan where some scientists have unearthed a capsule of Daleks. This was released in theaters in the US on Nov 14th and we took the opportunity to watch it even if it means being a bit out of order. We return to the First Doctor in our next episode.

We travel to the 20th of June, 1964 to watch all 6 parts of the seventh serial of Doctor Who. William Hartnell as the Doctor and his companions end up on the planet of a telepathic species who are suffering a strange illness which started when the first human ship arrived there causing them to defend the planet by not allowing the next ship to leave and to try to crash it while freezing the crew. We watch as the Doctor discovers the cause of the illness while dealing with opposition from some inhabitants of the Sense-Sphere who don't trust outsiders.

Our two Doctor Who fans travel back in time to watch the sixth serial in the Doctor's first season. They join William Hartnel and his companions to visit the Aztecs which originally aired from May 23 to June 13, 1964. We find out if anyone will be sacrificed either in 15th Century or in 2016.
