I've been dealing with depression for 17 years. It conquered my life for so long because I was unaware of how it got there in the first place. When it would go away, I thought that all would be well until it slapped me in the head again. It would do this for 17 years until finally I was still enough to hear God tell me why I've been in this state of being. I welcomed it in. But how? How did U invite depression into my life? If your family is dysfunctional please know that it is due to a curse. It took me a long time to accept that my family wasn't intentionally trying to hurt me. It is a spiritual battle that requires the word!

Life can really punish you but there is no benefit in giving others what you've been given. People often times project negativity onto you and if you aren't careful, you will adopt a negative way of thinking.
