In this episode, I talk about fear. Fear stands for: False Evidence Appearing Real. Fear is something you are making up when you’re worried about something happening. Fear comes from a negative mindset and fills you up with everything that can go wrong. What if you fill your head with all the positive things that will go right. Then this fear will turn into excitement. Everything all comes down to mindset. It is a fundamental rule for anything you want to succeed at.
If you're overthinking a situation: “What if I mess up?” or “What if I fail?”…That’s just false evidence because you don't know. That could happen or that could not happen & have the mindset of whether it happens or not - I’m still going to do it! Believing in yourself is not listening to the fear inside your head that tells you to quit. By turning off fear, you can turn your greatest weakness into your greatest strength. Whether you want to overcome your stutter, be able to public speak, get better at communication, whatever it may be...to truly master something, it takes 10,000 hours. Don’t let fear stop you from attempting a new skill or going after a goal. Have some faith that when you take a step into the world, that the universe will also throw you a bit of a safety net to catch you.
