The UNEDITED Podcast with Renee Dawn episodes

  • Anger. Let’s Talk About It.

There’s a difference between feeling something intensely and needing to act on it.

In this episode, I’m exploring our relationship to intensity, particularly anger, and what can happen when the emotion we’re experiencing in the moment isn’t actually proportionate to the situation in front of us.

Not every action deserves a reaction. Not every feeling needs an immediate response.

I’m also sharing something I haven’t spoken much about publicly: my relationship with my body has changed over the last few years, and I now live with chronic pain.

When I left my relationship, I genuinely thought I had gotten out relatively unscathed. I can see now that I was naive about what my body had carried.

    Our bodies remember.

And strangely, there has been something validating in that for me. After years of questioning the severity of what I lived through, my body has helped me believe myself.

This episode is about anger, intensity, pain, perspective, and learning to honour what is here without allowing every emotion to decide what happens next.

  • BODY: The Story That Started It All
    BODY - The Official Launch

Okay, you guys, today is a really special episode for me.

If you've been listening for a while, you know that I've been quietly creating and developing something called BODY. I've talked a little bit about it here, I've shared pieces of what I've been discovering, but today feels like the real launch.

And I couldn't imagine launching it any other way.

Because sitting here with me today is the woman who said yes to being the very first person to enter the BODY container.

Christina is also my first guest on the podcast since I relaunched, which feels pretty perfect.

Today, instead of me trying to explain BODY to you, you're going to hear from someone who actually experienced it.

We're going to talk about how Christina and I met, which is its own story, how BODY found its way into our relationship, where she was when we began, and what unfolded over the eight weeks we spent together.

And I want to say this before we get into it because I think it's important. When we started, I didn't know exactly what BODY was going to become.

I knew what I believed. I knew the way I wanted to hold the container. I knew that I wanted to create enough space, safety, presence, and time for another human being to really hear themselves. But I didn't know what the outcome would be.

And I think that's part of what makes this conversation so important. There was no predetermined destination.

We entered it together and paid attention to what emerged.

And what emerged was beyond what I could have imagined.

So, thank you Christina for saying yes to me when this was still just an idea. Because when I came to you with this, I didn't have eight weeks mapped out. I didn't know where we were going to end up. I just knew there was something here and I knew I wanted to explore it with you.

So... BODY is officially open and you can apply here.

And if you've been listening to Christina today and there is something in her story that you recognize in yourself... maybe you understand yourself really well, you've done a lot of work, you know your patterns, you know your stuff reall well, but there's still this distance between everything you know and what you actually feel and live... maybe BODY is something you want to explore.

It's eight weeks. It's you and me. We meet every week and we see what happens when you give yourself this kind of space.

You can apply here at bodybyreneedawn.com, or honestly, just email me. [email protected]. Tell me what you're feeling and we'll go from there.

  • A RECLAMATION OF THE HEART & How You FEEL Matters.
A RECLAMATION OF THE HEART & How You FEEL Matters.

For a very long time, I learned that how I felt didn't really matter.

And over the last 24 - 48 hours, I've had a pretty profound realization about just how deeply that belief has lived in me.

It goes back much further than my 14-year relationship. I knew from the time I was very young that I had a big heart. Sometimes it felt too big for the vessel carrying it. I felt deeply, I loved deeply, I noticed things deeply, and somewhere along the way I learned that the world didn't always know what to do with that.

So I learned to shut parts of myself down.

And then I spent 14 years in a relationship that reinforced it. Sharing how I felt often came with consequences, so eventually it became easier and safer to say nothing at all.

What I'm realizing now is that it takes a tremendous amount of courage for me to tell another person how I feel.

It can still feel incredibly vulnerable. I have to remind myself that I am allowed to feel what I feel. That my experience matters too. And that in safe relationships, the people who love and care about us actually want to know what's happening in our hearts.

This episode is a reclamation of that.

A reclamation of the heart. Of feeling. Of allowing ourselves to be affected. Of having the courage to say what is true for us without knowing exactly how it will be received.

I also share a beautiful and very powerful story about someone who recently entered one of my containers. I'm going to leave that there because I really want you to hear this one for yourself.

There were a few tears in this episode. It felt vulnerable to record. And it feels important to share.

I also introduce the next evolution of BODY.

BODY - The Temple is my online portal and community for movement, breathwork, somatic work, and a growing collection of resources created to support your beautiful body and soul.

Enter BODY — The Temple here.

And for those who feel called into deeper work, BODY - The Container is an eight-week immersive experience built around presence, deep listening, embodiment, and the conditions that allow you to come into a deeper relationship with yourself.

  • Your Problem May Be Your Solution.

The other night I had a dream that changed something in me.

Not because it gave me an answer, but because it completely changed the way I looked at life.

Sometimes we become so attached to one perspective that we never consider what might be revealed if we simply turned it upside down. That's exactly what happened to me, and it led to one of the most profound moments I've ever experienced in a dream.

In this episode, I explore what happens when the very thing we've been resisting may actually be the thing we've been asking for.

We also dive into energetic capacity. If you're trying to call something into your life, but your current capacity can't yet hold it, what if life begins presenting challenges that aren't punishments at all? What if they're invitations that will expand your capacity so that you can recieve what you've actually been working towards?

The gifts we're given don't always arrive wrapped the way we'd hoped.

And... this episode marks something incredibly special.

I'm officially opening applications for BODY.

BODY is a body-based container I've spent years living, testing, refining, and ultimately becoming. It's for people who know there is a difference between understanding something intellectually and actually living it.

The expansion you're looking for isn't something you think your way into - it happens through your body. There are no shortcuts. No bypassing. I've created a container designed to support exactly that. A place where lasting change isn't forced, but allowed to emerge through presence, participation, and practice.

It's powerful work, and if you're feeling called to it, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.

  • It Shouldn't Have Meant So Much... But It Did

I left Whistler expecting an ordinary drive home.

Instead, I spent more than eight hours sitting on the side of the highway while strangers worked around the final moments of someone else's life.

    I never met her.

    I don't know her name.

    But somehow, she changed mine.

This episode is about what happens when life reaches into your chest, cracks it open and reminds you, without asking permission, what actually matters.

This conversation is about love. Grief. Family. The illusion of control. The parts of ourselves that life slowly hardens, and the quiet yet wild ways they sometimes come back home.

I thought I was driving home that night.

Looking back, I don't think that's where I was headed at all.

And somehow, a woman I'll never meet left me with one of the greatest gifts I've ever received.

I hope a little piece of that gift reaches you too.

    From my heart to yours,

    I love you.

  • BAKE THE CAKE.

Looking for your next level of expansion or evolution?

I'll tell you where you'll find it.

In this episode, I share one of my most delicious dreams ever... a dream about baking a cake. It became the most beautiful analogy for our lives, the things we're creating, and even the relationship we have with our own bodies.

I also share what I think is one of the sexiest things a human being can do.

And finally, why I know you're not going to think you're way into the next stage of your expansion.

It's waiting to be remembered in your body.

If you've been feeling like you're standing on the edge of your next evolution, this conversation is for you.

Thank you so much for listening. I love you, I appreciate you, and I'd love to hear what landed for you. Tell me about your cake!

  • THE SECRET TO LIFE.

The secret of life is simpler than you might think.

In this episode, I share a lesson that has changed the way I move through the world and the biggest gift I've ever been given, which arrived in a package I never would have chosen for myself.

Sometimes life's greatest gifts come wrapped in challenge, discomfort, or circumstances we don't understand until much later.

  • Brought Me To My Knees. Literally.

A huge thank you to everyone for the support on the last episode of my Podcast.

“Your Body - Your Standards.” is officially the #1 episode since the relaunch of my podcast… which honestly means so much to me because that conversation was deeply vulnerable and very important to me.

If you haven't listened to it yet - listen here.

This next episode feels like an extension of that conversation in a lot of ways.

I share a recent experience that completely brought me to my knees and humbled me in a way I’ve never experienced before. It brought up things in me that I’ve never had to face at this depth and I open up about all of it in this episode.

I also talk about movement and the yoga practice that has carried me through some of the hardest moments of my life over the last 20+ years. A practice that has quite literally saved me more than once. And once again, it carried me through this experience too… just in a different capacity.

Movement has the power to heal. To ground. To strengthen. To regulate. To reconnect you to yourself. To build resilience from the inside out.

This is exactly why I teach the way I do.

If you’ve been wanting to move your body in a way that supports not just your physical body, but your nervous system, your mind, your confidence, your strength, your stability and your ability to actually hold yourself through life… I would love to practice with you.

  • YOUR BODY - YOUR STANDARDS.

This is a hard topic for me to talk about, if I’m being honest.

Because I live in a body that, by society’s definition, would be considered "the standard".
And that’s exactly why I've been wanting to talk about this.
Because my body is not the standard.
    And neither is anyone else’s.

There shouldn’t be a standard. Every body is a good body.

This episode is about autonomy. About taking your body back from what you’ve been told it should be and deciding for yourself what your standard actually is. You set the standard.

I share my own standards, what movement means to me, my journey with being vegan for over 10 years, why I'm not now and why it’s also a privilege to move as it's literally not available to everyone. And there should be no shame or judgement around that.

We’ve created this hierarchy of bodies.

As if some are more worthy… more valuable… more acceptable.

And I’m just not available for that. Because your body, exactly as it is,

    is not up for ranking.

    This is a conversation.

    Not a lecture.

Because every single one of us has a body. Which means every single one of us has a seat at this table. And I want you in this with me so will you join me in the conversation?! This is what my community is about.

Your body. Your standards. End of story.

  • This One Meant More Than I Expected — 4 Years Later!

This episode is a real one.

I’m sharing the last four years of my life - what it actually took to become who I am today. Not the highlight reel. The real deal. The hard, the messy, the moments that cracked me open… and the life I’ve built because I chose to walk through it.

My 4-year anniversary is this Friday - April 3rd, 2026.

    Four years of choosing myself.
Four years of rebuilding - on purpose.

I also open up about community… what it means to me now, what I value, and the role I feel called to hold. That part got me. You’ll feel it.

This life I’ve created is intentional. It’s meaningful. And I’m here for all of it,  with you & for you.
