We see examples in the world of people we think we would like to embody. Often this admiration turns into a sort of perversion, inspiring inside the individual a desire to "replace" that individual with themselves. The lack of appreciation of one's own value combined with the misplaced love of another creates a low vibration, twisting us into creatures of the shadow.

Every human being experiences wrath within themselves, the unquenchable thirst for retribution, even revenge. Anger, the emotion driving this thirst, is not in itself evil but the perversion of that same energy into a righteous arm of justice is. Acting on your primal drives without exhibiting some sort of restraint over them lowers us into the animal kingdom, reinvigorating a certain type of generic primal personality possessed by nothing more than the will to survive.

Everybody hits a lazy streak from time to time, that week or two every so often when you feel like just doing nothing. We often slip into these states, allowing ourselves to overindulge in comfort. Like the rest of the deadly sins, Sloth is insidious and enticing. It lures you in with the promise of the things you yearn for, without showing you the sacrifice required for that reward. It creates a sense of entitlement towards comfort and a desire to eliminate its opposite, suffering. The proverbial fall is a gradual descent, a subtle but constant movement downward when the proper energy vs reward balance is violated.
