Healing, Transition, and Celebration: Sandy and Brian's Journey
Sandy and Brian have been through a lot together, but it's only made them stronger. They've experienced both the pain of healing and the joy of celebration. Now, they're ready to share some of their journey with you.
Facing Bitter Victories
We often dread seasons when our faith is tested because we don't understand that God is orchestrating these moments for our benefit. But not only are these times important for us to experience, how we manage the trial is just as important as the victory promised.
Loving Others with the Right Posture
Have you ever stopped to think about why we love others? We all know that it's important to love, but the posture behind it can be just as important as the love itself. To illustrate this point, allow me to share a story about love, motives, and God's response to them.
We all crave meaningful connections and relationships with others, but sometimes it can feel like a daunting challenge. Sandy believes that friendship is an essential ingredient for relational health, and it was no surprise to her when she found out that it was God himself who established and created it. When we commit ourselves to the one who will always be there no matter what, we can have a strong and loving foundation for our relationships with others.
Sandy explains that the foes that hinder our friendship are things like pride, envy, and selfishness. When we focus on these things, we become so consumed with our own desires and needs that we forget to invest in meaningful relationships with others. We can learn to overcome these foes and focus on building strong and lasting relationships with others.
When Beliefs Are Tested: A Story of Perseverance
When everything you believe in is put to the test, it can be a difficult, confusing, and painful experience. But in the face of adversity, Sandy found strength in turning to God and allowing Him to be her defender. She shares her story of perseverance and why it's important to remember that even when it feels like God is the one causing the pain, He is actually allowing it for our personal, emotional, and spiritual growth.
