Fedor Emelianenko continues his run of dominance in Pride FIghting Championship. Once his time there ended, he kept winning fights and in late 2007, there were talks of him signing with multiple MMA organizations, including the UFC. Why didn't that ever materialize and who could have won in the dream fight between him and Randy Couture? 

In this episode we talk about Fedor Emelianenko. From December 2000 to June of 2010, "The Last Emperor" and legend in MMA, was undefeated. Even today he's still considered one of the greatest fighters ever in the sport's history. In this first of a multi-part series, we discuss Fedor's early life and career such as how he started training in sambo, what led him to MMA, and his accomplishments in the beginning of his run in Pride, which included winning the organization's heavyweight title over top fighter and then champion, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.
