Please join us for our annual UUCC Christmas Pageant! This year’s pageant will recreate the story of the birth of Jesus while drawing on our own Unitarian Universalist heritage to make it a story of freedom, liberation, and hope. We look forward to continuing our pageant tradition with this family-friendly service that will have plenty of opportunity for audience participation!

Join Director of Music Ministry Michael Adcock, the Chalice Choir and guest vocal-instrumental soloists in an annual holiday music service. Prepare to celebrate and experience the inner mystical meaning of Christmas in poetry, readings and song.

On this holiday weekend, and the first Sunday of Advent, Rev. Paige Getty and Kelli Danaker will lead a service for all ages inspired by the story The Littlest Christmas Tree: A Tale of Growing and Becoming. Join us as we consider where we can find joy, each and every day, even as we grow toward our dreams.
After the service, stay for the annual holiday decorating party, where we’ll make our own ornaments and trim the tree in Sanctuary C.
Speakers:
As we anticipate this holiday week and the longer holiday season ahead, Rev. Paige Getty considers the delicate relationship of gratitude and grief with which our celebrations are imbued.

Rev. Paige Getty and leaders of UUCC’s Climate Crisis Team will lead “Climate Change: Are There Signs of Hope?” During the service leaders will answer questions from the congregation. To submit your specific climate-related questions, we invite you to either email them in advance to [email protected] or bring them with you to service!

Anthony Jenkins will lead us in a service exploring life’s relationships — and the vested interests we often unknowingly bring into them. Together we’ll consider the not-so-obvious ways in which emotional roots from our past branch out into our present day actions & interactions.
Speakers:
What does it mean to be engaged in faith development as individuals and as a congregation? Members of UUCC’s professional staff will explore this question, and we will offer blessings on Director of Religious Education Robin Slaw, whose four-month sabbatical will begin November 1st.
Speakers:
With less than a month until election day (Tuesday, November 8!), Rev. Paige Getty, UUCC the Vote leaders, and others will explore the importance of participation in the democratic process — and especially in local elections, such as those for Board of Education representation.
