I've noticed this theme appearing repeatedly in recent sessions, prompting me to explore why spirits sometimes communicate from different levels of consciousness.

When connecting with departed loved ones, evidence typically comes from their "spirit" - who they were in this incarnation, complete with personality traits, relationships, and life experiences. Yet the deeper messages often flow from their "soul" - their higher self beyond all individual lifetimes, operating with expanded awareness after undergoing the profound transformation of transition.

What explains this shift? After passing, souls experience a life review where they relive their actions from the perspective of everyone they impacted. They're stripped of earthly limitations and biases, essentially washing away negativity at a cosmic sink. This explains why the curmudgeonly uncle or judgmental parent suddenly communicates with remarkable wisdom and unconditional love - they've evolved beyond their earthly constraints into their natural state.

We assume spiritual leaders must be evolved beyond ego-driven behaviors, but in reality, the intoxicating power of being perceived as "gifted" or "chosen" can create even more pronounced ego issues in this realm than in conventional settings.

The green flags of healthy spiritual leadership offer a stark contrast: teachers who admit knowledge limitations, encourage questioning, boost confidence rather than diminish it, and create safe spaces for authentic growth without exploitation. The veil between the physical and spiritual realms shimmers most visibly when we examine how differently time operates in each dimension.
