The University of Toledo has a new interim president who will be tasked with turning around the school’s falling enrollment numbers; Four Hundred and Nineteen Podcast

The Toledo Blade reported in September that the University
of Toledo had experienced a 3.8 percent decline in total enrollment. As part of
the article, UToledo Interim President Matt Schroeder said, “It will take
discipline and execution of our enrollment and recruitment plans to turn this
around. We have to hold ourselves accountable.” The school has said its plan
includes efforts to diversify enrollment, improve student success, and to
better tell the UToledo story to prospective students.
So what is Toledo’s story of now and of the future … while
also drawing on its past.
