Following the death and discovery of 13-year old Kei’ManiLatiigue, TPS Lead Counselor Jeff Griffiths told WTOL 11, “it has been rough for certain students. This has acted like a trigger for some of the trauma that they've had in the past.”
It wasn’t long after the loss of Kei’Mani that we discoveredthat Joaquin Simmons had also tragically been killed in a senseless act of violence.
But how are parents and counselors supposed to help themthrough it - especially if these kids are either scared to ask for help, or too unaware of what they need?
