If you saw a title of "Moon Unification Church" with zero context to the history of it's upbringing, you might first suspect that some rich billionaire was planning on planting a church on the moon, even as most of the billionaires are still struggling to launch spacecrafts into the atmosphere. On the contrary, the Moon Church did not have really much of anything to do with the planet itself but everything to do with one couple's unbiblical efforts to repopulate the earth with "sinless humans" through misguided theology.
