Thanksgiving eve 1971 a mysterious man named Dan Cooper boarded a flight with one thing on his mind...jumping. He hijacked the 727, demanded $200,00 and four parachutes. He opened the rear door at at 10,000 feet in the dark, cold and rainy night he disappeared...forever. Eight years later some of the ransom money was found in a sandbar not far from the jump site. Did he die during the jump as most have speculated? Or did he live to tell the tale? After watching the 2020 DB Cooper documentary on HBO, Detective Ken Mains gives us his opinion not only about the film, but also the suspects and the crime.
