Dr. Chelsi Day is a licensed psychologist who specializes in clinical sport psychology. She was a diver at Miami University where her team was very successful during her time as a student-athlete. Chelsi has worked in a private practice setting with high school, Olympic, and professional athletes, in college counseling settings, and was the director of counseling and sport psychology at Indiana University before she joined the staff at Ohio State in the fall of 2019.
We had the pleasure of sitting down and virtually speaking with Chelsi about this generation of collegiate student athletes; also known as "gen z", and she enlightened us on so much knowledge regarding this generation, how they think, how they learn and communicate, what matters most to them, and why they operate the way that they do.
A very important episode for coaches, individuals that work with those that fall into generation z, and even student athletes themselves - because at the end of the day, all they really want is to be seen, and heard.
Thank you, Dr. Chelsi Day.
What happens when life gets a little bit stressful? Or hard to manage? How do you cope, handle, and manage stress in your day to day life? This episode, we talk about how we cope and manage stress when things get heavy and overwhelming. Our remedies may not work for everyone, however talking about stress is something that is a stress reliever in itself. We hope you find some tools, ideas, or even just peace of mind in this conversation, and peace amongst whatever chaos you are enduring.

Prioritizing her mental health and learning from all of her experiences thus far, she is here to give advice and tell her story. Kyle is a dear friend of ours, and always will be, and we are very thankful that she took the time to connect with us, be apart of a vulnerable space, and touch the lives of individuals around the world.
