I sit down with information systems librarian Matt Sonnenberg. Matt is an alum of UWSP, where he majored in History and Broadfield Social Science and was a member of the track and field team. Currently, in addition to his library position, he is also a throws coach for the Track and Field team. We discuss growing up in central Wisconsin, his path to librarianship, and the role athletics has played in his life.

Laurie worked as librarian at the Marshfield campus for almost 22 years before accepting her new position and moving down to the Stevens Point campus. In today’s episode we discuss Laurie’s love of reading, her path to librarianship, and a few of her hobbies.

Today we are lucky enough to talk with Troy Espe. Troy is the coordinator of Interlibrary Loan and reference and has worked for the UWSP Libraries for over 11 years. Our conversation covers everything from growing up in Minnesota, to attending UW Madison for Graduate school, to Troy’s journey of changing professions, and everything in between.
