The Unwinding Podcast

We’re bringing in a new format where we “wind down” the previous month by chatting about what we’ve done, some of our personal faves - Chris’s Lorcana cards and Alex’s book picks may or may not be discussed… and looking forward to the next month. This is a chatty, laid back episode. We hope you like it! Let us know your favorite way to unwind in the comments or DM Alex on Instagram!

Another week of blind rankings and this time Chris gets to choose his top 10 without seeing what the list is. He ended with 2 left… spot 1 and spot 10… rough. Listen to hear what he chose!

Let us know in the comments or on Instagram what you’d like us to rank next.

We’re trying out a new format today and “blind” ranking our experiences on the Disney Dream with Disney Cruise Line. Chris came up with a list of 10 experiences we had on our cruise and Alex gets to rank them before seeing them.

We had fun with this one so we hope you like it! Want us to rank something else? Let us know in the comments!

Yes, yes… it’s only the first of August, but here in Central Florida we’re already thinking about spooky season! Just a few short days from the start of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and less than a month from Halloween Horror Nights… we don’t play the same rules here.

Today’s episode we talk about HHN and MNSSHP, what the events are, what we’re excited about and more. If you have any questions about either event, reach out to Alex on Instagram @AlexWindingsTravels

Going back a decade, we talk about the biggest mistakes we’ve made while traveling or with our travels. From our honeymoon in 2014 to the first time at Disney World in 2019… we hope this episode can help you avoid some of these mistakes we’ve made while you laugh at us for them. Enjoy. :)

We spent a few days at Magic Kingdom recently to check out a few new food items, ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and celebrate the 4th of July. Was the 4th of July worth it? Did Tiana’s beignets hit? We chat about it.
