Judging people is probably what the church is most known for in our culture. We need to be reminded of Jesus’ posture when it comes to pointing out other’s faults.
Starry Night
1 “Do not
judge, or you too will be
judged. – Matthew 7 (NIV)2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. – Matthew 7 (NIV)3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? – Matthew 7 (NIV)4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? – Matthew 7 (NIV)5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. – Matthew 7 (NIV)
1 “Do not
judge, or you too will be
judged. – Matthew 7 (NIV)CartoonJesus did not call us to be right, he called us to be light.5 May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus. 6 Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. –Romans 15:5-6
