#trump is throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks. He has brought up charging #obama, #oprah, #kamalaharris and #beyonce for various reasons, including treason. All this to distract from the #epsteinfiles and his connection. When all else fails, Trump will point the finger at Black people to scapegoat. I am glad that America is not falling for it...at least not yet.

Have you noticed that many people that support #israel are no longer saying these 7 words? I think that is something that Netanyahu should pay attention as support for the war on #gaza continues. More networks and shows that have been very pro-Israel like #morningjoe are using terms like #genocide or "unraveling genocide", and more. This was unheard of in the wake of the tragic events of October 7th. The forced starvation occurring in Gaza is turning out to be a tipping point that may lead Israel to losing much of the international support it has garnered since that day. What do you think?

On  @jubilee  "Surrounded" series, journalist Mehdi Hasan debated 20 #maga students. What they said was dangerous. To hear so many young people proudly proclaim themselves to be nazis, fascists, racists, and even openly embrace the shooting of children in the head in #gaza should trouble us all. These people need to be engaged rather than dismissed because they're not going anywhere. In fact they want anyone who doesn't look like them to go. We ignore these people at our own expense.

The comments over my last few posts denying any African lineage for Black Americans is really sad. Whether you’re Black, Black American, ADOS, FBA, African American, or whatever, you don’t lose anything by acknowledging that your roots are in Africa. You can only gain from stretching out your historical lineage. No other group does this as much as we do. Of course many Black Americans acknowledge their ancestry, but enough of us don’t to make it problematic. Someone said in one chat that they don’t even know what the term “African American” means. It is wrong for #joescarborough to say it's too early to ask questions about the tragic flooding in Texas. From what I've seen over the weekend, no one is taking any accountability from the local and state to the federal level. This is not a "The buck stops with me" administration. Everyone is already pointing fingers and we have seen this time and again with this administration from the plane crash to this. The people we have lost to these tragedies deserve better than this.

It has been revealed that #zohranmamdani identified in part African American on his college application. Now people are in a tizzy over it. This is another example of how much we don't know about the concept of race. #mamdani can give us an opportunity to discuss this but #ericadams, #andrewcuomo and others are using this as an opportunity to have what Glenn Singleton calls a #courageousconversation about this.
