In Romans 6, the apostle Paul declares that a believer in Christ is dead to sin’s slavery and fully alive in Christ, and that when he/she is freely and fully given to the Lord, “Sin is no longer my master. In Romans 5 we find that sin revealed our need for sacrifice, one from Jesus that reversed sin’s curse. Our response to that should be to live sacrificially in His grace.
