The utmost importance of being born again of water and the Spirit to be a true disciple of Christ and receive eternal life.
Christ died for us to be saved from our sinful way of life, but it doesn't just happen automatically. No, we have to receive Him as Lord and Saviour first, then be born again, or be baptized in the Holy Spirit. Yes, it's only when we sincerely believe that Christ is the Son of God and receive the Holy Spirit as our guiding light, that we make that transition from sinner to saint. A rebirth in our ways and behaviour are absolutely necessary for receiving Christ. We must live the scripture that the old man is dead, the new man or new creation has come. And since we all want to experience eternal life, let's make the most important decision of our lives, that's to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and be born again into His wonderful kingdom! That's wisdom in spades! Much LOVE!
