Bobby V opens the show reacting to a controversial/historic Derby.  We play some sound from Mark Casse, and The CJ's Tim Sullivan joins to give his thoughts on Derby 145.

It is celebrity day at the track, and one of The V show's favorite celebs JD Shelburne joins to talk some Derby, give us the latest on his career, and mention who he may throw a scheckel or two on this year. We hear from Win Win Win's performances leading up to Derby, and hear calls from some of the all time great horse announcers. Happy Oaks and Derby to you all!

Happy Thurby everyone!  Bobby V kicks off The V show reacting to the news that Omaha Beach, the favorite for this year's Derby, has scratched.  The V Show ponders the post positions for some of the horses, and Matt Bonesteel of The Washington post joins to talk about the numbers behind each post draw.  Bobby V looks at the past and most recent winners from each post position as well.  We hear Maximum Security's Florida Derby win call and break down the 8-1 horse.

Bobby V is joined by our friend Jeff Rantanapool from Century Mortgage to talk some horses as the man knows himself some ponies...as well as the housing market.  a lively chat on both ensues.  We play races from Churchill and replay Vacoma,and Improbable.  Kenny Rice of NBC also joins to talk about this year's Derby field.

The Valvanos open hour two playing old cereal commercials and trying to decide which modern cereal is the most sugary. Neil Greenberg from the Washington Post also joins to talk some stats and figures pertinent to the Derby.

Bobby V opens hour one of the V Show talking the latest news about Arizona and Sean Miller and the new testimony today saying they paid DeAndre Ayton to play at the school. Conversation then shifts gears to Derby Talk as WLKY's Fred Cowgill joins the show previewing the weekend and talking one big controversy in horse racing.

Final hour of this Tuesday's V show..  We hear Roadster's Santa Anita Derby win call, and Omaha Beach's Arkansas Derby win.  Some fun Frank Mirahmadi impression/race call sound as well.  Bobby V takes a break from equines and does a quick draft on Draft.com.  We also look at the speed byer numbers to try and handicap the Derby.

Second hour of The V Show on a Tuesday,  Bobby V listens to Wood Memorial winner, Tacitus' winning call to ascertain some info on the horse and what that may mean for Coop and NY Mike's fav horse in this years Derby.  We play a game of "Name That Sound" and are joined by WDRB's Eric Crawford talking Derby, and NBA playoff officiating.
