Hour one of The V show on a Wednesday.  Nick opens the show talking about something discussed on Middays with MArques Maybin about how there is still plenty to play for this season for UofL football.  The Phabulous One , Phil Baker joins.  We chat with Eric Crawford of WDRB about UofL and UK hoops among other things.

Bobby V is calling a horse race this weekend and is nervous.  We talk about somethings he should do.......and some things he shouldn't.  Rob Neyer ,the commissioner of The West Coast League, joins to preview The World Series.

Greg Galiette, The President of The Bats, joins Bobby V for the start of hour number two.  They talk among other things some UofL hoops, Reds baseball, and a great Halloween event coming to Louisville Slugger Field.  Nick wants Bob's thoughts on some UK and UofL football nuggets.  We talk some Sagarin success, and wrap with a little Hamilton.

UofL looked good last night in their exhibition home opener against Young Harris.  Bobby V offers his takeaways at what impressed him  He also discusses where he think UofL may struggle...but just a bit... with rebounding and interior play.  Bobby V also mentions who he thinks is pivotal to UofL's success this season.

Hour two Bobby V talks a bit about fixing the current state of college athletics given the struggles with the transfer portal, and relates it to MLB's issues in the past.  He tells the story of his first car affectionately named "Rot".  Nick remembers learning to drive a stick under immense pressure.

We start The V Show for the week talking about some stories from the weekend including UofL losing in football and The NY Liberty winning their first WNBA Championship.  Bob puts a bow on the Tony Bennett talk.  We talk about mentioning the wrong sponsors.  Bob weighs in on the potential officiating problem in CFB and elsewhere.  Bob protested Tulio leaving and sure enough Tulio is behind the board.  we mention the Deshaun Watson situation as well.
