Bob opens the show discussing the shoutout to he and Jamie from Marty Brennaman last night at the Reds game, tries to set the expectations for Louisville football heading into the season and has a debate with Lachlan over if Louisville fans should demand more.

Hour two of the V Show has Bob and Magic running through a locally-flavored Hit or Myth (with Nick chipping in), before Pat Forde from Yahoo Sports joins Bob to preview the local team's season openers and to weigh in on some of the national college football news and notes.

Hour three of the V Show has Bob being joined by John Clay of the Lexington Herald Leader as he previews the opener for Kentucky football, talks the fan feedback on the now-Kroger Field and to set expectations for the Wildcats. Bob is then joined by Bryce Fields to discuss his article arguing the Bulls should be the team to give Russ Smith another shot at the NBA.

Bobby V kicks off Wednesday's V show discussing the Race/ lack of Lamar hype discussion going around.  He then discusses something he saw interesting: a vote from golfers to change USGA rules.  Staying with rules Nathan Huber joins for "Ask the Official" to discuss some rules in baseball and football....two sports that Nate know a good deal about being a seasoned Umpire and football official. 

Second hour of The V show. WDRB.com's Eric Crawford joins to discuss the Mayweather fight, and the return of CFB. Bobby V also reacts to a CJ story from Jeff Greer about Pitino pleased with his 2017 team, and Greg galiette of The Louisville Bats joins to talk about the end of 2017 season and some great promos coming up to round out the season.

Final hour of The V Show on a Wednesday.  CBS and 24/7 Sports Chip Patterson joins Bobby V to preview the CFB season and give his thoughts on the locals.  bobby V discusses Teddy Bridgewater's future 1 year after that horrific knee injury, and Corey johnson of KY Downs talks about horseracing in the state of KY, and previews the V show's upcoming visit to the race track. 

It's Tuesday's with Fred!  WLKY Sports director Fred Cowgill joins Bobby V in studio to talk about a whole litany of stuff!  The nation's thoughts on Harvey, horse racing, the Mayweather-Mcgregor fight, and the return of football season!

Final hour of The V Show for a Tuesday. Bobby V reacts to the backlash Mark Ennis got for his tweet about NC State. Then, one final time, the Hall of Famer Al Bernstein discusses why he thought the Mayweather-Mcgregor fight was the most divisive he has ever seen!

The V show opens with a little help from Lachlan Mclean, Andy Sweeney, and Mark Ennis as Bobby V is running a bit late.  Once he gets settled he reacts to the weekend that saw conor Mcgregor hold his own against pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather.  We hear from Teddy Atlas and Stephen A. Smith on the matter as well.  The Courier Journal's Tim Sullivan also joins Bobby V for his weekly visit.
