Happy New Year everyone!!!! Bobby V is traveling home from Louisiana after calling last night's Louisiana Lafayette- Arkansa Little Rock, so 939The Ville's Marques Maybin joins the program to hold down the fort. Maybin takes your calls and breaks down the 2016 Cardinal football campaign and dissects some of Coach Petrino's comments after the disappointing Bowl loss.

Bobby V kicks off 2017 looking at the bowl game that was and reacts to some of the point and call Marques brought up in the first hour.  Valvano also discusses Louisville's impressive win over the Hoosiers and what Cards fans can expect with Notre Dame and FSU coming up.

Tom Noie from the South Bend Tribune joins Lach and Andy to open hour two, previewing the Notre Dame game for the Cards, where this Norte Dame team might be a bit better than advertised and why the stats aren't showing how good the fighting Irish are. Lach and Andy then ask if Bobby Petrino is really Italian and ask if anyone can break into the college football elite club.

Andy has some strong feelings about the Louisville-Indiana bridge toll, discusses why signs are not pointing to good things in the future of Teddy and the Vikings and wraps the hour with a V-Cap.
