"The original recording I have transcribed here was found in 1986 on the answering machine of my fiancée, Charlotte. Only few people know of it and its implications, as we were both afraid to be seen as mad by the public by revealing it. Now that Charlotte has passed on, I somehow feel that it is the right thing to release this. To make my peace with it, you know? The message was recorded by our friend Brian. We called the police back then, but they never were successful in finding out what happened."
