  • VATTA #63: Staying Motivated When Things Don’t Go Your Way
In this episode of the Virtual Assistant Tips, Tricks + Advice Podcast I'm sharing simple tips to help keep you motivated on your VA journey.
I remember when I first started on my Virtual Assistant journey, how hard it was to stay motivated when:
things were not moving fast enough
things were not going my way or
I was stuck in “Analysis Paralysis”
I know this can take the wind out of your sails and even have you doubting yourself.
But Remember… “The Beginning is Always the Hardest”.
The beginning of anything is always the hardest, whether it is starting a business or learning to ride a bike. The key is to keep trying and never give up.
I hope you find these simple tips helpful - they are the same ones I use today to help keep myself moving forward.

  • VATTA #60: Using The Fake It Until You Make It Strategy
In this episode of the Virtual Assistant Tips, Tricks + Advice Podcast I'm talking about the "Fake it until you make it" strategy when it comes to working with clients.
There is a big difference between faking it and lack of confidence. Faking means you’re not sure what you’re doing. Like saying you know Infusionsoft but you’ve never used it before. Lack of confidence is just that. You have the skills but lack the confidence when it comes to working with clients.
This is where we all start when officially launching our business. Lack of confidence! It's OK to fake confidence but NOT skills!
To help you gain confidence I recommend offering Launch Specials - which I talk about in this podcast briefly. If you want to know more about them and how they can  help you gain confidence go to https://www.thetechiementor.com/use-launch-specials-in-your-va-biz/.

  • VATTA #59: Are Your Boundaries Clear?
In this episode of the Virtual Assistant Tips, Tricks + Advice Podcast I'm focusing on boundaries... you know the ones you need to set with yourself, your clients and even your family + friends.
Your business doesn't come with set boundaries like a JOB does - you have to create and set them yourself. I can't stress how important this is - if you don't set them someone else will try and do it for you!!
Setting boundaries keeps you healthy and sane so be sure you've set appropriate boundaries in your business.
I hope you'll listen and share your thoughts! And.. feel free to share this with anyone you feel would find this episode helpful.
