The debate surrounding the Hope Scholarship and whether or not to give more money to the program or put caps on how much it grants is heating up as the West Virginia Legislature winds down on its 60-day regular session.
Tom Susman spoke with Jackson County Schools Superintendent Will Hosaflook about the need for the state's public schools to have the flexibility to compete against the state's private schools.
And Tom got a differing opinion from Jason Huffman of Americans for Prosperity-West Virginia, one of the leading advocates for Hope, who believes the program should be fully funded without caps.
