In this episode, we hear Tom Susman's report from Friday's Valley Today on reaction from West Virginia State Treasurer Larry Pack, Mason Mayor Kris Clark and West Virginia Retailers' Association President Bridget Lambert on the effects counties along the border with Ohio might see after Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed a bill suspending the state's gasoline tax through January 2.

Dave also shares stories from Metro News on West Virginia business leaders are optimistic that permitting reform can pass through Congress during the lame duck session; the West Virginia Supreme Court is considering whether or not to take up a case filed by the ACLU-WV over the state's school aid funding formula; and a Roane County man being arrested after allegedly firing a gun at a couple delivering Door Dash who took a wrong turn on to his property.

Today Ohio residents will see a .38 cent reduction in gas prices and a .47 cent reduction in diesel prices as Ohio takes a 90 day gas tax holiday.  There are over  400,000 West Virginia resident who live along the 277 mile Ohio border and they can take advantage of the reduction in gas taxes. This will impact WV gasoline sales, taxes, and retailers. Here is a report WMOV ran on Friday.
