West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey visited Ripley Elementary School Tuesday morning to sign Senate Bill 199, the school discipline bill, into law. Tom Susman spoke with the Governor, as well as the bill's author, Senator Amy Grady, and Jackson County Schools Superintendent Will Hosaflook.
Also, the Appalachian Regional Commission announced at grant of over $350,000 to Meigs County to provide broadband service to 200 resident in the county that would not have high spped internet otherwise. Tom talks with Dave Hannum of New Era Broadband and Perry Varnadoe of the Meigs County Economic Development Authority about what the grant means to the area.
