Publisher's Summary:
Regency London loves a society wedding - even if there are vampires on the guest list.
Dimitri, also known as the Earl of Corvindale, should be delighted that the headstrong Maia Woodmore is getting married. His mortal ward and houseguest has annoyed - and bewitched - the Dracule nobleman too long, and denying his animal cravings grows more excruciating by the day.
Miss Woodmores family has a rather complicated history with the immortals, and she herself possesses a keen sensibility far beyond mere womens intuition. Marriage will give her safety, respectability, and everything else a proper young lady could wish for. Everything, that is, except passion.
In the looming battle between Dracule factions, all pretenses will shatter as Maia and Dimitri come together in an unholy union of danger, desperation, and fiercest desire.

terrible narrator
Any additional comments?
Apparently reading with a British accent causes you to breath twice as often as normal. Someone should have informed the narrator that you breath at periods and commas, not after every other word. I felt light headed just listening to him hyperventilate. I have no idea if this is a good story, I couldn't understand what was being said in the first half. Also, this is clearly the second or third book in the series, the writer introduces characters and plots that are continuations from other books. I had no idea what was going on and couldn't follow who was who. Check the author's website to find out which book comes first.
Loved it.
I absolutely LOVE the way this book starts out.
It's not very often that you get the chance to read the same scene from different character perspectives. In Lucifer's Saint, the first half of the book follows the same story as it's predecessor, Lucifer's Rogue, only from Dimitri and Maia's point of view. It fills in more of the missing story and explains what happened when Voss and Angelia were not around, which in turn created a much bigger picture! I found myself stopping and thinking back, so that's why she was so angry when... or that explains the look they exchanged...
Around the halfway mark ends the storyline from the first book and begins it's own unique story. Angelica and Maia both planning their weddings, their brother off to help Narcise, and of course Dimitri, or rather the always ill-tempered Earl of Corvindale, was well, ill-tempered.
It wasn't until a face from his past reappeared that he started the realize his carefully constructed armor was beginning to crack.
As always, Colleen packed in the sarcasm and action, creating another page turner!
