We have amassed an incredible amount of data and knowledge over the past 50 years. We know more about more things than any period in human history. And the promise of our incredible advancements in technology and the sciences are that we would usher in a period of flourishing, we would create utopia, in a word, the promise is that we would find salvation.

But is this the case? Can it be the case?
