"The future of leadership will begin with you getting comfortable with what psychologists say are the 3 hardest words for a human to say.
I don't know.
Most of us were trained never to say I don't know and so we fake it until we make it. We pretend we know, we act as if we knew all along. We believe that people only trust us if we have a solution or an idea. There's something actually, really, really powerful about someone who has great integrity. Who has demonstrated great credibility and trustworthiness to say the thing we're facing I've never done before. I don't know what to do, but it is ours to do. So will you join me in it. And that's when leadership of the future starts, it actually starts with, I don't know but we're gonna go, anyway. So let's go".
