The 'Verse!

Before The 'Verse! Squad heads down to earth to celebrate the holidays with their families, friends and televisions, they gather to deliver their takes on the latest Guardians of the Galaxy content, the THE GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY HOLIDAY SPECIAL, as well as reviewing some of the latest film trailers in T3: Trailer: Trash, Treasure, or "Hey, thaT looks okay!" covering everything from Indiana Jones to Avatar. Some Grinches may have been in the room for this segment.

The Squad! rings in the holiday season with two major segments. First we discuss the season one finale of dark horse Star Wars series Andor. It’s got action, political intrigue, a standout cast of rogues, criminal masterminds, reluctant and die-hard rebel double agents, what more can you ask for? The only notable exclusion? Light sabers. Were you a fan? Do you feel Andor needs more light sabers or is this a welcome reprieve? Tell us on Twitter or Instagram @TheVerseCast!

Next we review the much-anticipated Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever. We discuss what we loved, what we could have done without, and the many hurdles this film had to overcome, including the tragic death of its leading man, Chadwick Boseman. As the sequel to the landscape-changing cultural touchstone that was the first Black Panther movie, Wakanda Forever has so many layers to dig into. Tune in to hear about everything from the music and wardrobe to comic book connections to predictions for the future of the MCU.

If you stick around after the credits, you’ll be mighty thankful you did…

The squad speeds off to a galaxy far, far away NOT to Tatooine for once, but Ferrix, Narkina 5, and Coruscant to discuss and break down Disney+’s ANDOR, following the titular hero (Diego Luna) from Rogue One to uncover his backstory. This series might just be a new squad favorite with our reactions ranging from unbridled admiration to begrudging acknowledgement. Tune in for our takes, tangents, And/Or predictions (get it?)!

The Squad returns to Westeros to cover the finale of Hot D!! Or, as Norm prefers to call it, House of the Dragon… We unpack the episode from the point of view of ASOIAF experts and newcomers to determine how many dragons we would rate the show out of.  We also share our theories (no spoilers) and rank the first season of this show alongside every season of Game of Thrones.

We also return with our cinematic news coverage to discuss some unexpected Harry Potter news, Henry Cavill's departure from The Witcher, and a familiar face entering Marvel's phase five. Tune in to stay informed on the latest and greatest cinematic universe news!

Welcome back to The 'Verse! For this episode we are seeing not doubles, but triples - consider it The Rule of 3s. We discuss three very different episodes of SHE-HULK and then dive into some trailers in our segment T:3, Trailer: Trash, Treasure or Hey, ThaT's Okay. For this segment we look at the final WAKANDA FOREVER trailer and more closely explore HBO's THE LAST OF US.

The ‘Verse! is a unique place. While it is full of fangirls and fanboys who love to celebrate their favorite cinematic universes, they’re also honest and fair about the content they cover. If they love something, you’ll know. If they don’t, trust me you’ll know. If they disagree , they certainly let eachother know. Andor is no exception.

Plus they cover some of the biggest cinematic universe news, including the Deadpool/Wolverine announcement, The Last of Us trailer drop, our plans fro NYCC and much more. See them both on our Twitter page.

While you're there, give us a follow us :) on both Twitter or Instagram @TheVerseCast where we also post news and announcements about the pod. If you stick around after the credits, you might find a joke being burned into the ground… and hopefully a laugh or two also. Enjoy episode 69 (dude!)

We continue our discussion of Amazon Prime Video's Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Tune in for a rich conversation between Lord of the Rings noobs, lovers, and "always extended edition" obsessors. Where do you fall on the spectrum and what do you think of the show?

After MUCH deliberation, we also unveil a new segment: The 'Verse! Confessions. Ever curious about your devoted, charismatic, and probably good looking hosts? This segment is your chance to learn more as we respond to a surprise prompt organized by our producer, the mysterious @filmsnork. Send us your burning questions on our socials!

Follow us on Twitter @TheVerseCast and now on Instagram too - where we post news, announcements about the pod, and collect listener questions. While you're there, give us a follow us :) Oh yeah, and if you stick around after the credits, you might learn more about The 'Verse! Squad, child of Snork, keeper of cinematic universe lore, agency of scripted chaos…
