It is something that comes from deep in their primitive brain and causes them to change their actions in order to fit in. People pleasers are not true to themselves and often lie or compromise their wants and needs in order to fulfill the needs of others. People pleasers need to learn to acknowledge that they have this tendency and the work at learning to say "no" in order to protect their time and their energy.
