Today, I just need to get something out of my system since a string of recent Weddings where I felt the photographers viewed me as secondary. I wanted to share my blunt and honest opinion about WHY photographers see videographers as secondary and where I think the Wedding photography industry is headed.

I share my personal story: growing up watching my parents build their business, and also watching it fail, how young I was when I started working, when I found my passion in film, going to school for architecture, my relationships along the way, and where I may be going in the future.

Grabbing gelato with one of my clients and now friend, she recalls her ongoing process of rebuilding her Wedding after not only one, but TWO venues cause major grief. The abrupt closing of the 1930's Grand Room in Tampa left dozens of Brides wondering where their money went, including my client, Lauren. Months later there is still no resolution and she explains why and how she may never see her money again. 

This week I met with Kayli and Andrew for the first time and got to learn more about them, where they met, how he proposed, and answered any questions they had about the services I offer. We walked through their Wedding day together to figure out what they wanted captured and the logistics of their Wedding, and I also gave them some timeline tips about reception.
