The Videostore Junkies

It's another beautiful Fourth of July weekend, which means you should it as our Founding Fathers intended: inside, watching film and tv content on your favorite streaming services! Join us as we offer up a whole slew of suggestions to keep you occupied for this holiday (or, if you don't live in America, just another boring weekend where you can lament that you don't have Freedom Fries).

The year is almost half over - have you watch all of our recommendations for 2023 yet? It not, you've shamed and dishonored us. To redeem yourselves, go listen to our entire back catalog of podcasts so that the algorithms will think we're more popular! And hey, you can start with this episode!

Is it the weekend again? So soon? Our calendars say that it is, which means that it's time for another episode of the #1 podcast called Queue Tips!

Let's be honest - you think you're going to spend your weekend knocking items off of your "to-do" list, but realistically you were probably just going to watch a 48 hour Law & Order marathon. Well, let us free you from the shackles of "Big Doink" with these alternative recommendations - there's something for everyone here, even the most diehard Dick Wolf-heads out there!

Sure, it's impossible to keep track of the constant rebranding of your favorite streaming services, but at least we're not changing OUR name (because new domains cost $12 and that's WAY outta our budget). But no matter what they're called this month, we'll tell you which services you can find this week's amazing recommendations on!

It's a long holiday weekend (if you're in the US), so why not kick back with some quality filmed entertainment? Any you can't get much higher quality than our picks this week! And if you're not in the US - well, you can listen too, but just don't expect us to share any of our Freedom Fries with you.

Did you know that the average American spends 3 hours a day watching TV? Well, we're here to help you be above-average! Especially if you're from one of those countries where they still read books and go to museums! Join us for another episode packed with recommendations for the greatest TV and films currently streaming!

It's our 34th best episode of all time! This week we're bringing you more recommendations than you can watch in an entire weekend, so now's a great time to tell your boss you'll be out sick with a case of "Space Raiders" for a few days.

In solidarity with the WGA writers strike, this week's episode is COMPLETELY UNSCRIPTED. I mean, all of our episodes are completely unscripted, but this one is especially so.
