The Vill House Podcast

We caught up with an old friend from El Paso this week.  He is the Chief Photographer for the El Paso Herald-Post, the owner of Photos by Ace, and the host of Taco Tuesdays with Ace in which I had the privilege of being a guest.  We took a trip down memory lane and we spoke about his craft, how he found his way to photography, and lessons learned during the journey.  It was a crazy fun podcast that brought back a lot of good memories.

We've been quarantined! So, we do not have a guest this week.  No worries though because Holly and I had a great conversation about education, learning, our journey through both, and our two cents on all of it.  It was a great podcast, fun to do and we hope you all enjoy it too.

Holly and I go back and forth about faith and religion and what it means to us.  We dive a little bit into our background with religion and where we stand today.  It was a really good conversation for us and had a good time making this podcast.  Hope you all enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed talking about it.

Jim Bob Bizzell joins us on the podcast this week.  He as a Paralympian who medaled in the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing, China.  He took home the a gold and 2 silver medals and broke 3 world records.  He hails from Odessa, Texas and played high school football at the legendary Odessa Permian High School.  He's a great guy and had a blast on the podcast.  If you want to see this guy in action just Google his name or type it into the YouTube search bar. This week on Tell Me Something Podcast we are joined by Joe Villalobos.  Joe is a Marine Corps veteran who served for 8 years. During that time he made 4 deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.  Now, Joe serves as a police officer here in San Angelo, Texas.  Joe also runs a YouTube channel titled JLV86 where he has segments called "Tactical Talk" discussing different tactical gear, guns, and a variety of weapons.  He also has his own podcast called "I Can't Lose" and is an ambassador for Mission 22 for all of west Texas.

A police officer joins me on the podcasts, but wants some anonymity so he will not be named.  He gives us a look behind curtain if you will through some of his experiences during his 7 years.  I had a lot of fun on this one as we also talked a little about conspiracy theories so much more.

The High School Teacher joins us on the podcast to discuss the difficulties of teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic.  She has some hilarious stories of her own from her time as a teacher.  This one had plenty of laughs and more Patron shots. We had a good time and hope that everyone else does as well.

This week on Tell Me Something Podcast, Holly and I discuss the benefits and the difficulties of having a "blended family."  As products of divorced parents ourselves, we also discuss our experiences growing up in blended families.  The good, the bad, and the ugly, we go through it all.
